How we work it out & FAQ

Where these numbers come from
  • Lumens = light level × area ÷ 0.54 (walls and ageing take the rest); a task uses the area of its surface, not the room. Catalogue filtered by room, task and constraint. Checked against 4478 matching lights in our catalogue snapshot of 2026-09-27; 2579 can be bought now. Same sums on every page, release families-2026-09-29.
