How we select and check reviews

Honest reviews matter. Here's exactly how we handle them.

Our own customer reviews

After your light is delivered, we may invite you to leave a review. These reviews appear on the product page and count towards the product's LIRRA rating.

If we ever offer a voucher — for example, for sending us an installation report — it's given regardless of the rating you leave, and the review will say that an incentive was given.

External reviews of this product

Our lights are made to order by independent makers, and the same model is sometimes sold by other sellers. Some product pages show a section called "External reviews of this product". These are verbatim reviews by buyers of the same model at other sellers.

• They are clearly marked as external reviews.
• They are never counted in the product's LIRRA rating.
• We pick them using the same rule for positive and negative reviews, so we don't cherry-pick the good ones.

How to report a review

If you think a review on our site is fake or misleading, email hello@lirra.co.uk with the product page link and why you're concerned. We look at every report.

What we remove

We remove a review if a report is valid — for example, if the review isn't genuine, isn't about the right product, or breaks the law. We don't remove a review just because it's negative.
